Following the latest Government announcement introducing further restrictions across England, we want to assure tenants that we will continue to deliver emergency and essential repairs, along with our full servicing programme, during this period.
Prioritising essential repairs work that may impact upon your health and safety, including the delivery of our full servicing programme – essential to ensure the safe operation of heating, electrical and water installations, as well as fire safety appliances – will ensure that tenants remain safe and secure in their homes during this difficult time.
Having consulted with our customers services committee, we are now asking residents to please withhold reporting routine repairs until after January, which will limit the number of visitors to your home, further protecting your safety and that of our staff.
We’ll be contacting everyone who already has a non-essential repair booked during January to discuss how this can be re scheduled. If you have a non-emergency repair to your home this month, please consider calling us back after the end of January.
While we are confident the measures we have introduced to work safely continue to be robust and effective, we want to do everything possible to limit the circulation of people and by working together, play our part in slowing and eliminating the spread of Covid-19.
We will continue to allocate vacant properties, in a Covid secure way, to ensure our homes are available to people in need.
In addition to this, we’ll maintain the on-site presence of wardens at our retirement housing schemes, to ensure we continue to provide the support and assurance that tenants value in a safe and secure way.
Rest assured, our teams will be keeping tenants and their homes safe through our emergency repairs service, which operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Our team can be contacted on 0344 800 3800 to report an emergency at your property and enquire about properties for rent.
