Housing Officer - Tenancy Management

We're advertising two Housing Officer - Tenancy Management roles, one is based in Bernicia's Office in Ashington, Northumberland, and the other is based in our office in Pity Me, Durham

The roles are both permanent, 37 hours per week, and attract a salary of £35,211 per annum, including car allowance.

About the role:

As a Housing Officer in the Tenancy Management team you will have the ability to effectively adapt to change programmes and to deliver excellent services in a highly competitive environment.

As a Housing Officer you will deliver excellent, consistent and responsive housing management services, which include:

• Neighbourhood and tenancy management
• Anti-social behaviour
• Allocations and lettings
• Empty property management, customer viewings and welcome visits
• Income management
• Customer involvement, empowerment, and inclusion
• Tenant liaison and support

About you:

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of all aspects of housing management. We are looking for candidates who have excellent communication skills and are solution focussed.
