Three Bernicia colleagues have taken their first steps into full-time employment after successfully completing their apprenticeships.
Emma Caw, 19, Erin Tweddell, 20 and 24-year-old Kelsey Monaghan are all now full-time employees after passing their Level 3 business admin qualification.
- Erin – was a business/admin apprentice in the Compliance team – now a Compliance Co-ordinator
- Kelsey – was a business/admin apprentice in the Housing team – now an Assistant Compliance Co-ordinator
- Emma – formerly a business/admin apprentice in the People team – now a People Development Assistant
All three women praised the support and encouragement of the teams they worked in during their apprenticeships which ran for up to two years.
“I’m over the moon, it’s such a relief and a great feeling to be in a job I really wanted working for a great company,” said Kelsey.
“I’m proud of what I achieved and it’s great to have the feedback we’ve all had.”
Jackie Johnson, Bernicia Employability Manager, said: “Kelsey, Erin and Emma have gone on to secure employment within the business before the end of their apprenticeships due to their commitment, skills and attitude to their learning.
“All three young women have done exceptionally well and deserve to be recognised for their hard work and commitment – and they are great examples of the business apprenticeship programme growing our next generation workforce.”
