Michael Farr

Michael has had a successful 18- year career in the housing sector, prior to which he worked in local government. A charted town planner, with a track record of delivering large and varied development programmes across North East England, Michael works closely with local authorities, Homes England and private sector developers to provide much needed affordable homes. He has also overseen several housing-led regeneration schemes in the region involving major investment in both new and existing housing stock.

Michael draws on his asset management experience to ensure optimum financial and social value performance is achieved from Bernicia’s assets, while overseeing the continued expansion of Bernicia’s property maintenance division, ensuring a cost effective, customer focused service is delivered.
